GT - Defy The Limits

Thrilling to drive and sensationally quick, the McLaren GT defies the boundaries of engineering to create a feeling that you can do anything. And now, our lightweight, everyday supercar has been updated and enhanced for 2021. Driven by our high-performance DNA, the GT has all the power, potency, and driving excitement you’d expect from a McLaren supercar, combined with everyday comfort and usability.

The 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 produces 620PS whilst the carbon fibre architecture is hundreds of kilos lighter than a conventional Grand Tourer. As a result, the GT accelerates from 0-62mph (100kph) in just 3.2 seconds and boasts a top speed of 203mph (326kph) – allowing you to feel the thrill of class-leading acceleration in a car lighter than anything in its class.

Inside, there’s a luxurious cabin trimmed with modern, technical materials, a rear luggage deck that can accommodate a golf bag or skis, and seats that are specifically designed with long-distance comfort in mind. Now the GT has been further enhanced with a number of specification updates for 2021. Comfort and convenience features, such as a vehicle lift system (for maneuvering over bumps and curbs), front and rear parking sensors, and a rear-view camera are all now included as standard.

To make the GT truly yours, the paint palette has been extended to include shades available on other McLaren models, including Ventura Orange and Vega Blue. There are new MSO Defined brake caliper colours, including Bronze and Speedline Gold, and the GT also gets a new MSO Defined 10 Twin-Spoke forged wheel design. GT wheels can also be ordered in the new Tungsten finish, a grey/bronze hue with a gloss finish which gives the car an edgier, more aggressive appearance.

And for the ultimate driver’s specification, a new Lightweight Sport Package has also been developed, featuring lightweight forged alloy wheels, a sports exhaust and super-light carbon ceramic brakes. Altogether, the pack shaves 20kg off the GT’s already impressive kerb weight and provides the most dynamic specification for more performance-oriented drivers. Engineered for super lightweight performance, the McLaren GT promises to engage and exhilarate every mile of the journey.
